Text Box: Cerapor filters are designed for use in aluminum casting.  Drache offers the Cerapor filters sized from 7” up to 26” and in all common porosities between PPI 10 and 70.  These filters are supplied with expandable gasket.   Cerazirk filters are characterized by their excellent strength and  temperature resistance.  Cerazirk filters are used for steel and super-alloy castings as well as large iron castings with high casting weight.  These filters can also be used for Magnesium casting.   Cerasic Filters are designed for iron castings.  With a temperature resistance of approx. 1500 deg C. Cerasic filters can be used for grey iron, spherical iron, iron with vermicular graphite, white iron castings as well as Ni-hard, Ni-Resist and SiMo alloys.
